105 minute running time … based on a Flannery O’Connor novel, directed by John Huston … it was damn weird and I don’t know what Flannery O’Connor was trying to say about religion and Southern culture, but it looked pretty screwed up, though it was very funny in parts … boy did America look in rough shape in 1979, just rock-bottom … if you’re intro deeply weird movies, you maybe like it, but I sure wouldn’t recommend it. Farr liked it.
