Son Little with “Neve Give Up” … big fan of Son Little and love the way he ends this one:
Movies Watched -- A Special Day (1977)
In Italian. 105 minute running time. I have no idea how this ended up in my queue but I’m glad it did since I LOVED this movie … it’s a great story shot in interesting ways, just really well done, absolutely a green-go. Ah, it was John Farr who recommended it, which figures, and I agree with him 100%. Bravo, Ettore Scola!

Movies Watched -- Repo Man (1984)
96 minute running time … this was a weird one, but weird in a good way, wonderfully weird, must be a “cult classic” … I enjoyed its early 80s vibe, goofy story, and heavy-on-punk-rock soundtrack. This is a green-go.
Ebert correctly wrote: “‘Repo Man’ comes out of left field, has no big stars, didn't cost much, takes chances, dares to be unconventional, is funny, and works.”

Katy Kirby with “Juniper” … I dig it:

Plug My Ears To Hear My Heart
Linda Diaz with “Green Tea Ice Cream” … great stuff, beautiful voice and there’s something special about her person, makes me hopeful for America with young people like her around:
Movies Watched -- Under the Silver Lake (2019)
139 minute running time so 40 to 50 minutes too long … a W.D.By movie, probably a trust fund kid, this was just crap. I gave it 20 minutes and went to fast forward. It’s like someone really dumb is trying to make a David Lymch movie. Who finances this garbage and how does it end up being in my queue?!? (which means someone recommended it) … tell the truth, call it crap, one star, don’t waste your time.
The first thing I ever masturbated to was probably a rerun of Charles in Charge.
