All future Zippo Armors I feature can be found under the Zippo category on this website.
From the Zippo website: "In 2005, the Armor lighters were first introduced into our stock line with the Brushed Brass, Brushed Chrome, High Polish Chrome, and High Polish Brass Armor models. [The] graphic is rendered in state of the art 3D software. A powerful milling machine accurately engraves deep contoured cuts into an Armor case using many tool sizes, special buffing, and plating. The deep carve process is used on Heavy-Wall cases only.
Brite Cut
Limited to Armor cases only, bright-cut engraving produces dazzling high and low facets, resulting in the dimensional look of a beautiful emblem directly on the surface.
Crisp deep carve engraving produces a gently undulating pattern with the look of a high quality emblem directly on the surface.
Two-Tone Rotary Process
Produced for the first time on Brushed Chrome Armor, the deep carve, two-tone rotary process creates a tactile, emblem-like surface with definitive brass highlights.
Deep Carve/Epoxy Inlay
Zippo has achieved a striking multi-faceted dimensional look, without the additional weight and bulk of an attached emblem. An Armor case is deep carved and plated, then selectively epoxy filled for dramatic color accents.
Clear, marbled or solid epoxies can be inlayed into deep cavities by highly skilled artisans.
Only the chrome Armor cases can be color-filled as the color-fill scratches the gold plating."
