Dial down to the tick chart to see where you could have gotten long old YELP, no way in the world is it below $42 ... hit DJ news ticker at 13:03? while the stock was halted, eons behind those in the know and our bot brethren, maybe it appeared earlier, just can't find it time-stamped anywhere ... assuming you're pathetically slow and half asleep halfway around the world, you may have paid $42 when it re-opened. Risk reward would have turned out to be kind of worth it -- depends on how clever your initial stop was.

People apparently expecting a bump in CSX from an Ackman mention at sohn conference (weak wordplay?) ... would have to dial down on the tick chart to see a realistic short entry price ... would have ended up being a scratch ... risk reward would look bad in hindsight probably ... again I'd need a tick chart to say for sure. Scanners lit up across the land, bots milliseconds ahead of mere mortals (and even the Chairman, fast asleep) as usual.

Made it thirty minutes in before I quit ... promising start with some funny bits but then the meanness of the humor and the wacky weird vibe started to grate ... probably appeals to the same crowd that liked the dreadful Donnie Darko ... not my bag.

Another Romanian New Wave movie, like The Death of Mr Lazarescu (my favorite movie in whatever year it came out) and 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days ... these movies make you want to slit your wrists because the depth of awfulness of life in Romania is revealed ... the corruption, the injustice, the indignities ... but they're really skillfully made ... recommended for adult viewers with above average intelligence only -- not something you watch with popcorn to cheer yourself up.

Enjoyed this one ... thanks to Twitter buddy @chijs for hipping me to it ... discovery is such an interesting thing, if I hadn't caught that tweet I probably wouldn't have found out about this show until three or four years later ... anyway, attractive articulate white people in a beautiful setting (the Florida Keys) who are my age ... proud WASP family with a painful past, a prodigal son, a mean Dad, lies begetting lies, violence begetting violence, lots of elements that appeal to me, that I can semi-identify with ... runs 13 one hour episodes, see it if you get a chance.

Ray Donovan -- Season One

Quit watching this after three or four episodes ... didn't find any of the characters attractive, everyone's a low-life ... story wasn't interesting to me, it's probably a semi-accurate reflection of the life of a Hollywood fixer, but I don't want to watch that. Biggest problem was Liev Schreiber playing a tough Irish Catholic from Boston when he's clearly a nice Jewish boy from Long Island. 

Sarah Silverman -- We Are Miracles

Watched this HBO special from when? several years ago? ... Sarah talks about, among other things, the happy childhood memory of showering with her Mom, the water sprinkling off her "giant 70s Jew bush" onto young Sarah. I like most of her bits, not all of them, but I can identify with this X'er from New Hampshire -- she definitely doesn't fly in flyover country.
