Quick update of the NQ... my fuzzy logic remains long (fuzzy is much more sophisticated than the simplistic modified zig-zag schtick that some folks employ). On this chart I've pointed out the lovely ABC retracement which formed wave 2 -- if there's only one thing you should try to identify with the waves, it's knowing your ABCs!

Purple Haze, by Joshua Kurlantzick:
"Sixteen of the world's 20 most polluted cities are in China. Two-thirds of China's cities don't meet World Health
Organization air-quality standards. Reports released by Chinese health experts have suggested that just living in
these places is like smoking two packs of cigarettes per day and that, in some cities, 80 percent of children may
suffer from lead poisoning -- 80 percent! Beijing's air has more carbon monoxide than Los Angeles and Tokyo combined."
This is the number one reason why we have hesitated so much about settling in Shanghai. Posted at 18:49, GMT
CyberTrader Introduces Per-Share Pricing; Trades as Low as $1:
"... CyberTraders can choose to have their accounts charged on a 'per
trade' basis of $9.95 plus $.003 per share above 5,000 shares, or a 'per
share' basis of $.006 per share up to 2,000 shares and $.003 per share above
2,000 shares. On a 'per share' basis, someone could pay as little as $1.00
for a 100-share trade...."

Rest assured that everybody in St. James' and Mayfair has the same wave count on Crude... but beware of universal agreement. ;-)

Commodities: Beyond Pork Bellies by Amey Stone. Funds mentioned in the article include: Jimmy Rogers' fund; PIMCO Commodity Real Return Strategy (expense ratio hard to find but it's 2.25% for class C (deferred load) shares, ouch!); Oppenheimer Real Asset (expense ratio hard to find, but it's 2.40% for class C (deferred load) shares, double ouch!); and Vanguard Energy (expense ratio very easy to find: it's 0.37%). Is Man's black box on the blink? by Nils Pratley:
"... AHL's method is straightforward in practice. The computer aims to identify price trends in a range of markets - shares,
bonds, commodities, currencies and so on - and follow them. Human interference is virtually banned: the computer runs
around the clock, spilling out 'buy' and 'sell' orders that Man's traders merely implement."
