J. Hoberman's new book, The Dream Life: Movies, Media, and the Mythology of the Sixties, is out. He's one of the few movie critics I religiously read.

One of the few book critics I always make a point to read is Michiko Kakutani. She won the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism in 1998.
