Let's apply the Investors Intelligence Sentiment Survey to the Hang Seng Index. Using the Bears Over Bulls criteria, in the past 3+ years long-term investors have
found only nine different occasions to step in and buy stocks.
I often remind myself of the comment Buffett made back in 1990:
"Lethargy bordering on sloth remains the cornerstone of our investment style." I have been
somewhat active making commitments, but still relatively slothful, I hope. ;-)
