I've been reading a bit about how well-equipped the American special forces will be when they are sent into Afghanistan... it strikes me as a bit silly since they will be going up against locals who have been toughened by decades (centuries?) of continuous war.

You think those guys in the picture above need laser sights and kevlar? Hell, they don't even need shoelaces.

Awful Intermediate Accounting exam today, just ugh. Would've helped if I had remembered to bring the trusty 17BII.
