Getting Laid
One fun and profitable thing to do when day trading is to overlay one stock's price action onto the chart of another. When the stocks belong to the same group (like KLAC and NVLS both belong to the semiconductor fabrication equipment group) they tend to move together, although not strictly tick for tick. When one stock makes a significant move, like breaking the morning high or low, you can often count on the other stock following suit. Watching a pair of related stocks trade one on top of the other in a very short time frame is useful for seeing exactly how they interact, and teaches you how to anticipate price action. |
