When we moved back to the US from Hong Kong a few years ago, we had to buy a new car. We were interested in getting a hybrid gas/electric car since we're not fans of oil dependency or air pollution.

At first we looked at the Toyota Prius, but decided that it was too ugly. We also checked out the Honda Insight, but didn't like the fact that it was a two-seater.

So we ended up getting a Honda Civic and have been thrilled with it: it's fun, practical, comfortable, and fuel efficient. Now Honda is offering a hybrid Civic which actually looks nice and seats four or five people... fantastic!
